Nkata Johnpaul is a committed Climate Policy Analyst and Research Associate based in Kampala, Uganda, with over five years of experience advancing climate change adaptation strategies across East Africa.

Nkata excels in analyzing climate vulnerabilities within Uganda's agriculture, water, and disaster preparedness sectors, with deep knowledge of MRV systems, proposal writing, and digital tools for data collection and sharing. Currently contributing to national research initiatives on tailored climate resilience policies—through organisations including Climate Change Adaptation Innovation (CHAI), and Makerere University projects. Nkata specializes in developing monitoring, evaluation, and Learning (MEL) frameworks, stakeholder engagement plans, and Community-Based Adaptation (CBA) interventions.
