KETA SEA DEFENCE PROJECT

This project was designed and implemented to prevent tidal waves that erodes some number of communities along the Keta coastline.

  • Represents community values

    An assessment of the project indicates that lots of values of the communities involved were ignored. It was a top down approach during both the design and implementation


  • Addresses challenges

    Sure, to a very large extent, the challenges were curbed.


  • Adequately assess vulnerability

    Indeed, vulnerabilities were assessed but cannot be guaranteed to be adequate

  • Demonstrates conflict resolution

    Sure, conflict resolution was fully covered


  • Meets the community’s expectations and needs

    Communities expectations and needs were not fully met


  • Contributes to the community’s adaptive capacity

    It deed contribute to adaptive capacity but was for a short run.
