CLIMATE CHANGE IMPACT IN OTA, OGUN STATE.

My name is Ugochinyerem, and I've been in ota for a few months now. These are my observations so far.

I've noticed crazy weather patterns here – like, rain pours and streets flood, temps are hotter than usual, and it's hard to tell seasons apart (we’re in dry season but rain’s been falling nonstop ). Plus, power cuts are a daily thing during rains.

It’s tough for everyone. Roads are bad, construction projects stall, industries produce less because of power issues, and farmers struggle to plan their planting/harvest. Everything feels a bit stuck.

To be honest, we’re kinda making do. People use generators (which isn’t great for the air) or solar panels (but power’s limited). Projects like roads/drainage are stuck due to the rains. Farmers are just trying to survive, really. Feels like more could be done, you know?
