In my region, more frequent and intense heatwaves are a clear climate change impact. They present serious health risks, especially for the elderly and outdoor workers, strain the electricity grid due to soaring demand for cooling, and reduce air quality.

In response, the local government has launched public cooling centers and heat health warning systems. Community efforts include checking on vulnerable neighbors and planting more urban trees for shade. Individually, people are trying to conserve energy during peak hours and staying hydrated. These are practical, reactive steps, but long term planning for a hotter climate remains an ongoing challenge.
