SMART objective activity
General adaptation goal: Enhance the resilience of the rural community in northern Bangladesh to frequent flooding.
The project aims to construct 50 elevated, flood-resilient homes and two community flood shelters in the rural areas of Northern Bangladesh, utilizing locally available resources, including labor and materials. This initiative is projected to reduce annual household flood damage and losses by at least 30%. The completion of this project is anticipated by December 2026.
