Vulnerability Assessment: Local volunteers and Union Parishad officials conducted risk mapping and identified the most flood-prone and salinity-affected areas.
Conflict Resolution: Regular community meetings ensured disputes over resource allocation and land use were mediated collaboratively.
Meeting Community Needs: The project improved protection for homes and agricultural land, increased safety during cyclones, and provided alternative livelihoods like fish farming and mangrove-based products.
Adaptive Capacity Contribution: Strengthened local disaster preparedness, combined traditional and scientific knowledge, and enhanced resilience to climate risks for households and the wider community.
