Rewriting SMART objective

Step 1 – General Adaptation Goal:Improve the resilience of the rural community in northern Bangladesh to frequent flooding.

Step 2 – SMART Objective:Construct and elevate flood-resilient housing platforms and improve drainage systems for 100 households in three flood-prone villages in northern Bangladesh by December 2027, reducing flood damage to homes and crops by at least 30%, monitored through local government and community progress reports.

Peer Feedback Example:The objective is specific because it clearly states the action (building flood-resilient platforms and improving drainage). It is measurable through the number of households supported and the percentage reduction in flood damage. It appears achievable with community participation and limited government resources. The objective is relevant since it directly addresses flooding risks. It is also time-bound, with a clear completion deadline of December 2027.
