Smart Objective For Flood and River erosion

Step 1. General Adaptation Goal

Improvement of the community resilience on frequent flooding and river erosion which has expanded the river size and reduced land area for residence and Agricultural land. This natural activity which has been contributed to human active has bring a negative impact to the local thus loss of residential and farming Land.

Step 2.

Specific : To compact the river banks and planting tree near will make the river flow smoothly without affecting the local and farming activities.

Measurable : Make sure the river dykes are well compacted and trees planted near are monitored to their optimal growth and maintaining the regulated reperian area of about 30 to 60 Meters.

Achievable : Use the local available materials which will not acre any cost since Donor fund are limited.

Relevance : This will address the issue on frequent floods and soil erosion in the area thus will give the community peace of mind and live in Harmony.

Time Bound : This activities will take a period of at least 12 months which is by end of 2026.
