climate change crisis is multifaceted and has both Economic, Human, Social, Environmental impacts. Drought and floods is the most common disasters in Kenya with untold suffering to communities. Recent disasters 2025 include a Landslide in Baringo County, marakwet county causing death of 37 people and millions loss in property and foodcrops. currently 23 counties are experiencing drought and millions facing at starvation, loss of livestock and climate refugees, already the government has called for food support. This means money meant for health, infrastructure development will be redirected.
